ECP Workshop #1: Orientation and Personal Responsibility
Bob King is Director of Employment Services at Memorial Assistance Ministries, a non-profit organization that provides emergency financial assistance and other services to families and individuals in Spring Branch and other contiguous neighborhoods in Houston. Bob has eight years of nonprofit leadership experience built upon a foundation of over 20 years of experience in the energy corporate finance business. He has served on nonprofit boards, led agencies as Executive Director, raised millions of dollars of funding for his organizations, created and managed fundraising events, created value-added partnerships with corporations, and organized and led volunteers in both fundraising and providing client services.
Bob holds BA and MBA degrees from Southern Methodist University. He and his family have lived in Houston since 1985, but recently built a home in New Braunfels and commute to Houston for the work week. Bob and his wife Julie are members of St. John's Episcopal Church in New Braunfels.
